The Reston Hospital Center Cath Lab is equipped with the Philips Allura Xper FD20. This fully digital system provides our specialists and referring physicians with comprehensive cardiovascular imaging for diagnostic and interventional procedures, and is designed to ensure optimal patient safety and comfort. The system enables precision and positioning at high stand speeds, minimizing procedure time for patients and staff. A fully motorized C-arm provides a wide range of viewing angles while allowing easy access to the patients, and features automatic touchless safety sensing to avoid patient contact. The imaging system features advanced X-ray tube technology and beam filtering techniques for excellent image quality and reduced X-ray dose. The Allura enables us to improve outcomes and patient care while offering a broader range of procedures, including PCI.
